Every one utters lies to his neighbor; with flattering lips and a double heart they speak.


May the Lord cut off all flattering lips, the tongue that makes great boasts,


What shall be given to you? And what more shall be done to you, you deceitful tongue?


Take me not off with the wicked, with those who are workers of evil, who speak peace with their neighbors, while mischief is in their hearts.


For they do not speak peace, but against those who are quiet in the land they conceive words of deceit.

Your rich men are full of violence; your inhabitants speak lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
