How long shall I take counsels in my soul, sorrow in my heart all the day?


How long shall my enemy be exalted over me?


May he not suffer thy foot to be moved: neither let him slumber that keepeth thee.


The voice of the Lord is upon the waters; the God of majesty hath thundered, The Lord is upon many waters.


The wicked are alienated from the womb; they have gone astray from the womb: they have spoken false things.


Thus will I bless thee all my life long: and in thy name I will lift up my hands.

A man that beareth false witness against his neighbour, is like a dart and a sword and a sharp arrow.


For among my people are found wicked men that lie in wait as fowlers, setting snares and traps to catch men.


Shall I not visit for these things, saith the Lord? And shall not my soul take revenge on such a nation?


And they have bent their tongue, as a bow, for lies and not for truth: they have strengthened themselves upon the earth: for they have proceeded from evil to evil, and me they have not known, saith the Lord.


Let every man take heed of his neighbour, and let him not trust in any brother of his: for every brother will utterly supplant, and every friend will walk deceitfully.


And a man shall mock his brother, and they will not speak the truth: for they have taught their tongue to speak lies, they have laboured to commit iniquity.


By which her rich men were filled with iniquity, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue was deceitful in their mouth.
