18 If I say to the wicked, ‘You shall surely die,’ and you give him no warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, in order to save his life, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood I will require at your hand.

The wicked is overthrown through his evil-doing, but the righteous finds refuge through his integrity.


Woe to the wicked! It shall be ill with him, for what his hands have done shall be done to him.

Now then, hearken to their voice; only, you shall solemnly warn them, and show them the ways of the king who shall reign over them.”
