They said to him, “We have had dreams, and there is no one to interpret them.” And Joseph said to them, “Do not interpretations belong to God? Tell them to me, I pray you.”


If there be for him an angel, a mediator, one of the thousand, to declare to man what is right for him;


the people of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone; and Moses would put the veil upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.

A man is commended according to his good sense, but one of perverse mind is despised.


A man of understanding sets his face toward wisdom, but the eyes of a fool are on the ends of the earth.


A wicked man puts on a bold face, but an upright man considers his ways.


A wise man is mightier than a strong man, and a man of knowledge than he who has strength;


he reveals deep and mysterious things; he knows what is in the darkness, and the light dwells with him.
