Let Mount Zion be glad, let the towns of Judah rejoice because of your judgments.


so that I may recount all your praises, and, in the gates of daughter Zion, rejoice in your deliverance.


I am black and beautiful, O daughters of Jerusalem, like the tents of Kedar, like the curtains of Solomon.


I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, by the gazelles or the wild does: do not stir up or awaken love until it is ready!


Come, my beloved, let us go forth into the fields, and lodge in the villages;


Who is that coming up from the wilderness, leaning upon her beloved? Under the apple tree I awakened you. There your mother was in labor with you; there she who bore you was in labor.


once the Lord has washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion and cleansed the bloodstains of Jerusalem from its midst by a spirit of judgment and by a spirit of burning.


Out of his anguish he shall see light; he shall find satisfaction through his knowledge. The righteous one, my servant, shall make many righteous, and he shall bear their iniquities.


For as a young man marries a young woman, so shall your builder marry you, and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.


For a child has been born for us, a son given to us; authority rests upon his shoulders; and he is named Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.


Go and proclaim in the hearing of Jerusalem, Thus says the Lord: I remember the devotion of your youth, your love as a bride, how you followed me in the wilderness, in a land not sown.


I will rejoice in doing good to them, and I will plant them in this land in faithfulness, with all my heart and all my soul.


The Lord, your God, is in your midst, a warrior who gives victory; he will rejoice over you with gladness, he will renew you in his love; he will exult over you with loud singing


Take the silver and gold and make a crown, and set it on the head of the high priest Joshua son of Jehozadak;


The queen of the South will rise up at the judgment with this generation and condemn it, because she came from the ends of the earth to listen to the wisdom of Solomon, and see, something greater than Solomon is here!


But we had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead and has come to life; he was lost and has been found.’ ”


I have said these things to you so that my joy may be in you, and that your joy may be complete.


He who has the bride is the bridegroom. The friend of the bridegroom, who stands and hears him, rejoices greatly at the bridegroom's voice. For this reason my joy has been fulfilled.


He is the head of the body, the church; he is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, so that he might come to have first place in everything.


Let us then go to him outside the camp and bear the abuse he endured.


but we do see Jesus, who for a little while was made lower than the angels, now crowned with glory and honor because of the suffering of death, so that by the grace of God he might taste death for everyone.


Look! He is coming with the clouds; every eye will see him, even those who pierced him; and on his account all the tribes of the earth will wail. So it is to be. Amen.


His eyes are like a flame of fire, and on his head are many diadems; and he has a name inscribed that no one knows but himself.


Let us rejoice and exult and give him the glory, for the marriage of the Lamb has come, and his bride has made herself ready;
