A fool takes no pleasure in understanding, but only in expressing personal opinion.


When its boughs are dry, they are broken; women come and make a fire of them. For this is a people without understanding; therefore he that made them will not have compassion on them, he that formed them will show them no favor.


The highways are deserted, travelers have quit the road. The treaty is broken, its oaths are despised, its obligation is disregarded.


“For my people are foolish, they do not know me; they are stupid children, they have no understanding. They are skilled in doing evil, but do not know how to do good.”


Then he said, “Are you also still without understanding?


He said to them, “Then do you also fail to understand? Do you not see that whatever goes into a person from outside cannot defile,
