“But will God indeed dwell on the earth? Even heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you, much less this house that I have built!


“But will God indeed reside with mortals on earth? Even heaven and the highest heaven cannot contain you, how much less this house that I have built!


And have them make me a sanctuary, so that I may dwell among them.


I will dwell among the Israelites, and I will be their God.


Shout aloud and sing for joy, O royal Zion, for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.


But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my law within them, and I will write it on their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


They shall be my people, and I will be their God.


My dwelling place shall be with them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.


He said to me: Mortal, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet, where I will reside among the people of Israel forever. The house of Israel shall no more defile my holy name, neither they nor their kings, by their whoring, and by the corpses of their kings at their death.


The circumference of the city shall be eighteen thousand cubits. And the name of the city from that time on shall be, The Lord is There.


And I will put this third into the fire, refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call on my name, and I will answer them. I will say, “They are my people”; and they will say, “The Lord is our God.”


and I will bring them to live in Jerusalem. They shall be my people and I will be their God, in faithfulness and in righteousness.


It was always so: the cloud covered it by day and the appearance of fire by night.


And the Word became flesh and lived among us, and we have seen his glory, the glory as of a father's only son, full of grace and truth.


Jesus answered him, “Those who love me will keep my word, and my Father will love them, and we will come to them and make our home with them.


What agreement has the temple of God with idols? For we are the temple of the living God; as God said, “I will live in them and walk among them, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

Now may our God and Father himself and our Lord Jesus direct our way to you.


But as it is, they desire a better country, that is, a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God; indeed, he has prepared a city for them.


This is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord: I will put my laws in their minds, and write them on their hearts, and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

And when the seven thunders had sounded, I was about to write, but I heard a voice from heaven saying, “Seal up what the seven thunders have said, and do not write it down.”


Then the voice that I had heard from heaven spoke to me again, saying, “Go, take the scroll that is open in the hand of the angel who is standing on the sea and on the land.”


Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, proclaiming, “Now have come the salvation and the power and the kingdom of our God and the authority of his Messiah, for the accuser of our comrades has been thrown down, who accuses them day and night before our God.


Those who conquer will inherit these things, and I will be their God and they will be my children.


Nothing accursed will be found there any more. But the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him;


For this reason they are before the throne of God, and worship him day and night within his temple, and the one who is seated on the throne will shelter them.
