They will suck the poison of asps; the tongue of a viper will kill them.


You will tread on the lion and the adder, the young lion and the serpent you will trample under foot.


Each one threw down his staff, and they became snakes; but Aaron's staff swallowed up theirs.


Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler, and whoever is led astray by it is not wise.
