You silence the roaring of the seas, the roaring of their waves, the tumult of the peoples.


You rule the raging of the sea; when its waves rise, you still them.


who caused his glorious arm to march at the right hand of Moses, who divided the waters before them to make for himself an everlasting name,


He rebukes the sea and makes it dry, and he dries up all the rivers; Bashan and Carmel wither, and the bloom of Lebanon fades.


Was your wrath against the rivers, O Lord? Or your anger against the rivers, or your rage against the sea, when you drove your horses, your chariots to victory?


And becoming aware of it, Jesus said, “You of little faith, why are you talking about having no bread?


He said to them, “Because of your little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you.”


But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which is alive today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?


They were amazed, saying, “What sort of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him?”


But Jesus rebuked him, saying, “Be silent, and come out of him!” When the demon had thrown him down before them, he came out of him without having done him any harm.


No distrust made him waver concerning the promise of God, but he grew strong in his faith as he gave glory to God,
