Then bring near to you your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the Israelites, to serve me as priests—Aaron and Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.


For Aaron's sons you shall make tunics and sashes and headdresses; you shall make them for their glorious adornment.


the finely worked vestments for ministering in the holy place, the sacred vestments for the priest Aaron, and the vestments of his sons to serve as priests.


The priest shall put on his linen vestments after putting on his linen undergarments next to his body; and he shall take up the ashes to which the fire has reduced the burnt offering on the altar, and place them beside the altar.


The Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


Then Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and consecrated them.


Then he brought forward the ram of burnt offering. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,


Then he brought forward the second ram, the ram of ordination. Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram,


and assemble the whole congregation at the entrance of the tent of meeting.


Unlike the other high priests, he has no need to offer sacrifices day after day, first for his own sins, and then for those of the people; this he did once for all when he offered himself.
