But Aaron and his sons made offerings on the altar of burnt offering and on the altar of incense, doing all the work of the most holy place, to make atonement for Israel, according to all that Moses the servant of God had commanded.


Moses and Aaron were among his priests, Samuel also was among those who called on his name. They cried to the Lord, and he answered them.


Then bring near to you your brother Aaron, and his sons with him, from among the Israelites, to serve me as priests—Aaron and Aaron's sons, Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.


You shall put them on your brother Aaron, and on his sons with him, and shall anoint them and ordain them and consecrate them, so that they may serve me as priests.


Now this is what you shall do to them to consecrate them, so that they may serve me as priests. Take one young bull and two rams without blemish,


The sacred vestments of Aaron shall be passed on to his sons after him; they shall be anointed in them and ordained in them.


and you shall gird them with sashes and tie headdresses on them; and the priesthood shall be theirs by a perpetual ordinance. You shall then ordain Aaron and his sons.


In this way all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of meeting was finished; the Israelites had done everything just as the Lord had commanded Moses.


Then you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting, and shall wash them with water,


which the Lord commanded Moses on Mount Sinai, when he commanded the people of Israel to bring their offerings to the Lord, in the wilderness of Sinai.


Take Aaron and his sons with him, the vestments, the anointing oil, the bull of sin offering, the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;


these are the names of the sons of Aaron, the anointed priests, whom he ordained to minister as priests.
