Elijah then came near to all the people, and said, “How long will you go limping with two different opinions? If the Lord is God, follow him; but if Baal, then follow him.” The people did not answer him a word.


you shall not bow down to their gods, or worship them, or follow their practices, but you shall utterly demolish them and break their pillars in pieces.


The wicked earn no real gain, but those who sow righteousness get a true reward.


They do not know, nor do they comprehend; for their eyes are shut, so that they cannot see, and their minds as well, so that they cannot understand.

and I will cut off your images and your pillars from among you, and you shall bow down no more to the work of your hands;


those who bow down on the roofs to the host of the heavens; those who bow down and swear to the Lord, but also swear by Milcom;


On that day, says the Lord of hosts, I will cut off the names of the idols from the land, so that they shall be remembered no more; and also I will remove from the land the prophets and the unclean spirit.
