When you send forth your spirit, they are created; and you renew the face of the ground.


Awake, O north wind, and come, O south wind! Blow upon my garden that its fragrance may be wafted abroad. Let my beloved come to his garden, and eat its choicest fruits.


I will put my spirit within you, and you shall live, and I will place you on your own soil; then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken and will act,” says the Lord.


Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones, and say to them: O dry bones, hear the word of the Lord.


Thus says the Lord God to these bones: I will cause breath to enter you, and you shall live.


I looked, and there were sinews on them, and flesh had come upon them, and skin had covered them; but there was no breath in them.


And while still rising in power, his kingdom shall be broken and divided toward the four winds of heaven, but not to his posterity, nor according to the dominion with which he ruled; for his kingdom shall be uprooted and go to others besides these.


Shall I ransom them from the power of Sheol? Shall I redeem them from Death? O Death, where are your plagues? O Sheol, where is your destruction? Compassion is hidden from my eyes.


The angel answered me, “These are the four winds of heaven going out, after presenting themselves before the Lord of all the earth.


The wind blows where it chooses, and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know where it comes from or where it goes. So it is with everyone who is born of the Spirit.”


Then they said to me, “You must prophesy again about many peoples and nations and languages and kings.”


But after the three and a half days, the breath of life from God entered them, and they stood on their feet, and those who saw them were terrified.
