The sons of Amram: Aaron and Moses. Aaron was set apart to consecrate the most holy things, so that he and his sons forever should make offerings before the Lord, and minister to him and pronounce blessings in his name forever;


Your decrees are very sure; holiness befits your house, O Lord, forevermore.


but you shall be for me a priestly kingdom and a holy nation. These are the words that you shall speak to the Israelites.”


As a gem-cutter engraves signets, so you shall engrave the two stones with the names of the sons of Israel; you shall mount them in settings of gold filigree.


Aaron shall wear it when he ministers, and its sound shall be heard when he goes into the holy place before the Lord, and when he comes out, so that he may not die.


You shall fasten it on the turban with a blue cord; it shall be on the front of the turban.


You shall take two onyx stones, and engrave on them the names of the sons of Israel,


and you shall set the turban on his head, and put the holy diadem on the turban.


They also made the tunics, woven of fine linen, for Aaron and his sons,


They made the rosette of the holy diadem of pure gold, and wrote on it an inscription, like the engraving of a signet, “Holy to the Lord.”


They tied to it a blue cord, to fasten it on the turban above; as the Lord had commanded Moses.


Her merchandise and her wages will be dedicated to the Lord; her profits will not be stored or hoarded, but her merchandise will supply abundant food and fine clothing for those who live in the presence of the Lord.


This is the law of the temple: the whole territory on the top of the mountain all around shall be most holy. This is the law of the temple.


Then Moses said to Aaron, “This is what the Lord meant when he said, ‘Through those who are near me I will show myself holy, and before all the people I will be glorified.’ ” And Aaron was silent.


Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them: You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.


And he set the turban on his head, and on the turban, in front, he set the golden ornament, the holy crown, as the Lord commanded Moses.


On that day there shall be inscribed on the bells of the horses, “Holy to the Lord.” And the cooking pots in the house of the Lord shall be as holy as the bowls in front of the altar;


Pursue peace with everyone, and the holiness without which no one will see the Lord.


For it was fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, blameless, undefiled, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens.


But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's own people, in order that you may proclaim the mighty acts of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.


But nothing unclean will enter it, nor anyone who practices abomination or falsehood, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.
