17 So Ananias went and entered the house. He laid his hands on Saul and said, “Brother Saul, the Lord Jesus, who appeared to you on your way here, has sent me so that you may regain your sight and be filled with the Holy Spirit.”

Then Joseph said to his brothers, “Come closer to me.” And they came closer. He said, “I am your brother, Joseph, whom you sold into Egypt.


Then little children were being brought to him in order that he might lay his hands on them and pray. The disciples spoke sternly to those who brought them;


and begged him repeatedly, “My little daughter is at the point of death. Come and lay your hands on her, so that she may be made well, and live.”


And he could do no deed of power there, except that he laid his hands on a few sick people and cured them.


When Elizabeth heard Mary's greeting, the child leaped in her womb. And Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit


Then his father Zechariah was filled with the Holy Spirit and spoke this prophecy:

They had these men stand before the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.

And immediately something like scales fell from his eyes, and his sight was restored. Then he got up and was baptized,


Welcome one another, therefore, just as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.

Am I not free? Am I not an apostle? Have I not seen Jesus our Lord? Are you not my work in the Lord?


Do not neglect the gift that is in you, which was given to you through prophecy with the laying on of hands by the council of elders.

For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands;
