“We found the prison securely locked and the guards standing at the doors, but when we opened them, we found no one inside.”


for which I am an ambassador in chains. Pray that I may declare it boldly, as I must speak.


I thought to scatter them and blot out the memory of them from humankind;


May the Lord grant mercy to the household of Onesiphorus, because he often refreshed me and was not ashamed of my chain;


So we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper; I will not be afraid. What can anyone do to me?”
