Micaiah said, “If you return in peace, the Lord has not spoken by me.” And he said, “Hear, you peoples, all of you!”


No wisdom, no understanding, no counsel, can avail against the Lord.


Like a sparrow in its flitting, like a swallow in its flying, an undeserved curse goes nowhere.


But Jesus said, “Do not stop him; for no one who does a deed of power in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me.


Now, even if I boast a little too much of our authority, which the Lord gave for building you up and not for tearing you down, I will not be ashamed of it.


So I write these things while I am away from you, so that when I come, I may not have to be severe in using the authority that the Lord has given me for building up and not for tearing down.


But we pray to God that you may not do anything wrong—not that we may appear to have met the test, but that you may do what is right, though we may seem to have failed.


For we rejoice when we are weak and you are strong. This is what we pray for, that you may become perfect.


among them are Hymenaeus and Alexander, whom I have turned over to Satan, so that they may learn not to blaspheme.
