For I am the Lord your God; sanctify yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy. You shall not defile yourselves with any swarming creature that moves on the earth.


Speak to all the congregation of the people of Israel and say to them: You shall be holy, for I the Lord your God am holy.


To all God's beloved in Rome, who are called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.


To the church of God that is in Corinth, to those who are sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints, together with all those who in every place call on the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours:


Now the works of the flesh are obvious: fornication, impurity, licentiousness,


just as he chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world to be holy and blameless before him in love.


For we are what he has made us, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand to be our way of life.


I therefore, the prisoner in the Lord, beg you to lead a life worthy of the calling to which you have been called,
