Who has performed and done this, calling the generations from the beginning? I, the Lord, am first, and will be with the last.


But you, O Bethlehem of Ephrathah, who are one of the little clans of Judah, from you shall come forth for me one who is to rule in Israel, whose origin is from of old, from ancient days.


just as they were handed on to us by those who from the beginning were eyewitnesses and servants of the word,


Look at my hands and my feet; see that it is I myself. Touch me and see; for a ghost does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have.”


(He who saw this has testified so that you also may believe. His testimony is true, and he knows that he tells the truth.)


Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here and see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it in my side. Do not doubt but believe.”


For just as the Father has life in himself, so he has granted the Son also to have life in himself;


Jesus said to them, “Very truly, I tell you, before Abraham was, I am.”


After his suffering he presented himself alive to them by many convincing proofs, appearing to them during forty days and speaking about the kingdom of God.


for we cannot keep from speaking about what we have seen and heard.”


how can we escape if we neglect so great a salvation? It was declared at first through the Lord, and it was attested to us by those who heard him,


And we have seen and do testify that the Father has sent his Son as the Savior of the world.


saying, “Write in a book what you see and send it to the seven churches, to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea.”


“I am the Alpha and the Omega,” says the Lord God, who is and who was and who is to come, the Almighty.


He is clothed in a robe dipped in blood, and his name is called The Word of God.


“And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: These are the words of the first and the last, who was dead and came to life:
