In the camp they grew envious of Moses and of Aaron, who was consecrated to the Lord.


These were the names of the sons of Levi according to their records: Gershon, Kohath and Merari. (Levi lived 137 years.)


The sons of Kohath: Amram, Izhar, Hebron and Uzziel. (Kohath lived 133 years.)


The sons of Izhar: Korah, Nepheg and Zikri.

‘Our father died in the wilderness. He was not among Korah’s followers, who banded together against the Lord, but he died for his own sin and left no sons.
