They gave Moses this account: ‘We went into the land to which you sent us, and it does flow with milk and honey! Here is its fruit.


Then Caleb silenced the people before Moses and said, ‘We should go up and take possession of the land, for we can certainly do it.’


Joshua son of Nun and Caleb son of Jephunneh, who were among those who had explored the land, tore their clothes


Taking with them some of the fruit of the land, they brought it down to us and reported, ‘It is a good land that the Lord our God is giving us.’


They answered, ‘Come on, let’s attack them! We have seen the land, and it is very good. Aren’t you going to do something? Don’t hesitate to go there and take it over.
