“Arise, Lord, and come to your resting-place, you and the ark of your might.


From the Lord comes deliverance. May your blessing be on your people.


Arise, Lord, do not let mortals triumph; let the nations be judged in your presence.


Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will take a stand for me against evildoers?


Awake, awake, arm of the Lord, clothe yourself with strength! Awake, as in days gone by, as in generations of old. Was it not you who cut Rahab to pieces, who pierced that monster through?


when I sharpen my flashing sword and my hand grasps it in judgment, I will take vengeance on my adversaries and repay those who hate me.


But those who hate him he will repay to their face by destruction; he will not be slow to repay to their face those who hate him.
