He said, ‘If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.’


Then they brought him a demon-possessed man who was blind and mute, and Jesus healed him, so that he could both talk and see.


When Jesus landed and saw a large crowd, he had compassion on them and healed those who were ill.


He touched her hand and the fever left her, and she got up and began to wait on him.


Those tending the pigs ran off, went into the town and reported all this, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.


Some men brought to him a paralysed man, lying on a mat. When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the man, ‘Take heart, son; your sins are forgiven.’


Some men came, bringing to him a paralysed man, carried by four of them.


For Jesus had said to him, ‘Come out of this man, you impure spirit!’


When Jesus saw that a crowd was running to the scene, he rebuked the impure spirit. ‘You deaf and mute spirit,’ he said, ‘I command you, come out of him and never enter him again.’


When Jesus saw her, he called her forward and said to her, ‘Woman, you are set free from your infirmity.’


At sunset, the people brought to Jesus all who had various kinds of illness, and laying his hands on each one, he healed them.


Moreover, demons came out of many people, shouting, ‘You are the Son of God!’ But he rebuked them and would not allow them to speak, because they knew he was the Messiah.


As a result, people brought those who were ill into the streets and laid them on beds and mats so that at least Peter’s shadow might fall on some of them as he passed by.
