When Jesus entered Jerusalem, the whole city was stirred and asked, ‘Who is this?’


But when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple courts, ‘Hosanna to the Son of David,’ they were indignant.


For I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”’


As Jesus went on from there, two blind men followed him, calling out, ‘Have mercy on us, Son of David!’


Look, your house is left to you desolate. I tell you, you will not see me again until you say, “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord.”’


‘Glory to God in the highest heaven, and on earth peace to those on whom his favour rests.’
