Go rather to the lost sheep of Israel.


He answered, ‘I was sent only to the lost sheep of Israel.’


‘What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off?


On hearing this, Jesus said, ‘It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but those who are ill.


For this son of mine was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.” So they began to celebrate.


But we had to celebrate and be glad, because this brother of yours was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.” ’


For the Son of Man came to seek and to save the lost.’


Then he and his disciples went to another village.


The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
