they saw that his face was radiant. Then Moses would put the veil back over his face until he went in to speak with the Lord.


Those who are wise will shine like the brightness of the heavens, and those who lead many to righteousness, like the stars for ever and ever.


Whoever has ears, let them hear.


‘Then the King will say to those on his right, “Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world.


I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was ill and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.”


I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.’


If anyone has ears to hear, let them hear.’


‘Do not be afraid, little flock, for your Father has been pleased to give you the kingdom.


And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me,


Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labour in the Lord is not in vain.


Listen, my dear brothers and sisters: has not God chosen those who are poor in the eyes of the world to be rich in faith and to inherit the kingdom he promised those who love him?
