the food on his table, the seating of his officials, the attending servants in their robes, his cupbearers, and the burnt offerings he made at the temple of the Lord, she was overwhelmed.


He told the crowd to sit down on the ground.


‘How many loaves do you have?’ he asked. ‘Go and see.’ When they found out, they said, ‘Five – and two fish.’


So they sat down in groups of hundreds and fifties.


(About five thousand men were there.) But he said to his disciples, ‘Make them sit down in groups of about fifty each.’


Jesus said, ‘Make the people sit down.’ There was plenty of grass in that place, and they sat down (about five thousand men were there).


For God is not a God of disorder but of peace – as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.


But everything should be done in a fitting and orderly way.
