Judah turned and saw that they were being attacked at both front and rear. Then they cried out to the Lord. The priests blew their trumpets


and the men of Judah raised the battle cry. At the sound of their battle cry, God routed Jeroboam and all Israel before Abijah and Judah.


On the seventh day, they got up at daybreak and marched round the city seven times in the same manner, except that on that day they circled the city seven times.


When you hear them sound a long blast on the trumpets, make the whole army give a loud shout; then the wall of the city will collapse and the army will go up, everyone straight in.’
