After the Sabbath, at dawn on the first day of the week, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went to look at the tomb.


By faith the walls of Jericho fell, after the army had marched round them for seven days.


Early in the morning Joshua and all the Israelites set out from Shittim and went to the Jordan, where they camped before crossing over.


So on the second day they marched round the city once and returned to the camp. They did this for six days.


The seventh time round, when the priests sounded the trumpet blast, Joshua commanded the army, ‘Shout! For the Lord has given you the city!


We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts.
