Alarmed, Jehoshaphat resolved to enquire of the Lord, and he proclaimed a fast for all Judah.

How the cattle moan! The herds mill about because they have no pasture; even the flocks of sheep are suffering.


The Ninevites believed God. A fast was proclaimed, and all of them, from the greatest to the least, put on sackcloth.
