‘Who is this that obscures my plans with words without knowledge?


For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us.


Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.


But I will show you whom you should fear: fear him who, after your body has been killed, has authority to throw you into hell. Yes, I tell you, fear him.


Therefore let us stop passing judgment on one another. Instead, make up your mind not to put any stumbling-block or obstacle in the way of a brother or sister.


Who are you to judge someone else’s servant? To their own master, servants stand or fall. And they will stand, for the Lord is able to make them stand.


You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on someone else, for at whatever point you judge another, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.


But who are you, a human being, to talk back to God? ‘Shall what is formed say to the one who formed it, “Why did you make me like this?” ’


Therefore he is able to save completely those who come to God through him, because he always lives to intercede for them.


Don’t grumble against one another, brothers and sisters, or you will be judged. The Judge is standing at the door!
