They came in and took possession of it, but they did not obey you or follow your law; they did not do what you commanded them to do. So you brought all this disaster on them.


For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: ‘Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law.’


Again I declare to every man who lets himself be circumcised that he is required to obey the whole law.


‘Cursed is anyone who does not uphold the words of this law by carrying them out.’ Then all the people shall say, ‘Amen!’


We all stumble in many ways. Anyone who is never at fault in what they say is perfect, able to keep their whole body in check.


Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble,


To him who is able to keep you from stumbling and to present you before his glorious presence without fault and with great joy –
