When you are persecuted in one place, flee to another. Truly I tell you, you will not finish going through the towns of Israel before the Son of Man comes.


just as they were handed down to us by those who from the first were eyewitnesses and servants of the word.


Now those who had been scattered by the persecution that broke out when Stephen was killed travelled as far as Phoenicia, Cyprus and Antioch, spreading the word only among Jews.


But Paul and Barnabas remained in Antioch, where they and many others taught and preached the word of the Lord.
