Hezekiah rested with his ancestors. And Manasseh his son succeeded him as king.


Ahaz his son, Hezekiah his son, Manasseh his son,


Hezekiah rested with his ancestors and was buried on the hill where the tombs of David’s descendants are. All Judah and the people of Jerusalem honoured him when he died. And Manasseh his son succeeded him as king.


Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he reigned in Jerusalem for fifty-five years.


A loving doe, a graceful deer – may her breasts satisfy you always, may you ever be intoxicated with her love.


No longer will they call you Deserted, or name your land Desolate. But you will be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah; for the Lord will take delight in you, and your land will be married.


I will make them abhorrent to all the kingdoms of the earth because of what Manasseh son of Hezekiah king of Judah did in Jerusalem.
