By the word of the Lord a man of God came from Judah to Bethel, as Jeroboam was standing by the altar to make an offering.


So Solomon removed Abiathar from the priesthood of the Lord, fulfilling the word the Lord had spoken at Shiloh about the house of Eli.


The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in Egypt,


The Lord said to Moses and Aaron, ‘These are the regulations for the Passover meal: ‘No foreigner may eat it.


The Lord said to Aaron, ‘Go into the wilderness to meet Moses.’ So he met Moses at the mountain of God and kissed him.


This is the blessing that Moses the man of God pronounced on the Israelites before his death.


But you, man of God, flee from all this, and pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, endurance and gentleness.


For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.


Then the woman went to her husband and told him, ‘A man of God came to me. He looked like an angel of God, very awesome. I didn’t ask him where he came from, and he didn’t tell me his name.

But the servant replied, ‘Look, in this town there is a man of God; he is highly respected, and everything he says comes true. Let’s go there now. Perhaps he will tell us what way to take.’
