God was with the boy as he grew up. He lived in the desert and became an archer.


Nathan replied to the king, ‘Whatever you have in mind, go ahead and do it, for the Lord is with you.’


if I have rejoiced over my great wealth, the fortune my hands had gained,


Then the Lord said, ‘If they do not believe you or pay attention to the first sign, they may believe the second.


Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the realm of the dead, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.


Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: the virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
