Keep me as the pupil, the daughter of the eye; hide me under the shadow of Your wings,


And Your servant is warned by them; in keeping them there is great reward.


How precious is Your loving-kindness, O God! And the sons of men take refuge under the shadow of Your wing.


To the Chief Musician. Do not destroy. A secret treasure of David, when he fled from Saul in the cave. Be merciful to me, O God, be merciful to me; for my soul trusts in You; yea, in the shadow of Your wings I will make my hiding-place, until these great troubles pass by.


And man shall say, Truly, there is a reward for the righteous; truly, there is a God judging in the earth.


I will dwell in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the hiding place of Your wings. Selah.


Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice.


He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall trust. His truth shall be your shield, and buckler.


The wicked makes a deceitful wage; but one sowing righteousness has a sure reward.


For surely there is a hereafter, and your hope shall not be cut off.


So says Jehovah: Hold back your voice from weeping and your eyes from tears; for your work shall be rewarded, says Jehovah. And they shall come again from the land of the enemy.


O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, the one killing the prophets and stoning those who are sent to her, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, and you would not!


Rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for your reward in Heaven is great. For so they persecuted the prophets who were before you.


Take heed that you do not do your merciful deeds before men, to be seen by them. Otherwise you have no reward with your Father in Heaven.


But love your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing in return. And your reward shall be great, and you shall be the sons of the Highest. For He is kind to the unthankful and to the evil.

But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.


For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.


And Ruth said, Do not beg me to leave you, to return from following after you. For where you go, I will go. Where you stay, I will stay. Your people shall be my people, and your God my God.

Then she said, Let me find favor in your sight, my lord, for you have comforted me; for you have spoken kindly to your handmaid, though I am not like one of your handmaidens.


And he shall be to you as a restorer of life, and one who cheers your old age. For your daughter-in-law who loves you has borne him, she who is better to you than seven sons.


For if a man finds his enemy, will he let him go completely away? And may Jehovah reward good for what you have done to me this day.


And now, behold, I know well that you shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in your hand.
