I have sewed sackcloth on my skin and thrust my horn in the dust.


Many are saying of my soul, There is no deliverance for him in God. Selah.


Through You we will push our enemies; through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us.


But man, though high in honor, does not remain; he is like the animals that perish.


Through God we shall do great things; for it is He who shall trample our enemies.


I will send him against an ungodly nation, and against the people of My wrath. I will command him to take the plunder, and to strip off the spoil, and to trample them like the mud of the streets.


I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the peoples there was no man with Me; for I will tread them in My anger and trample them in My fury; and their blood will be sprinkled on My garments, and I will stain all My clothing.


O Jehovah, the Hope of Israel, all who forsake You shall be ashamed. Those who depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Jehovah, the Fountain of living waters.


You went forth for the salvation of Your people, for salvation with Your anointed. You struck the head from the house of the wicked, to bare the foundation to the neck. Selah.


And they shall be like mighty ones who trample the mud of the streets in the battle. And they shall fight because Jehovah is with them, and they shall make the riders on horses ashamed.


And you shall trample the wicked, for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day which I am preparing, says Jehovah of Hosts.


And, my father, behold! Yes, see the skirt of your robe in my hand. For in that I cut off the skirt of your robe and did not kill you, know and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in my hand, and I have not sinned against you. Yet you hunt my soul to take it.


And you have shown this day how you have dealt well with me, because when Jehovah shut me up into your hand, you did not kill me.


And now, behold, I know well that you shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in your hand.
