And I said to the king, Let the king live forever. Why should not my face be sad, when the city, the place of my fathers' tombs, lies waste, and its gates are burned with fire?


By the great force of my disease my clothing is exposed; it binds me about like the mouth of my coat.


My flesh is clothed with worms and clods of dust; my skin is broken and has run afresh.


For my days go up like smoke, and my bones glow like a firebrand.


They say, A wicked thing is poured out on him, and he who lies down shall rise no more.


And immediately the angel of the Lord struck him, because he did not give God the glory. And he was eaten by worms and gave up the spirit.
