And Asa cried to Jehovah his God and said, Jehovah, it is nothing with You to help, whether with many or with him who has no power. Help us, O Jehovah our God, for we rest on You, and in Your name we go against this multitude. O Jehovah, You are our God. Do not let man prevail against You.


how much less man who is a maggot, and the son of man, who is a worm?


Yea, let none who wait on You be ashamed; let them be ashamed who sin without cause.

I was a reproach among all my foes, but especially among my neighbors, and a fear to my friends; those who saw me outside fled from me.


My enemies speak evil of me, saying, When will he die, and his name perish?

He gives his cheek to Him who strikes him; he is filled with reproach.
