I will be his Father, and he shall be My son. If he commits iniquity, I will chasten him with the rod of men, and with the stripes of the sons of men.


But He is in one mind, and who can turn Him? Yea, what His soul desires, He does it.


He has also settled them forever and ever; He has made a decree which shall not pass away.


And I will make him My first-born, higher than the kings of the earth.


declaring the end from the beginning, and from the past things which were not done, saying, My purpose shall stand, and I will do all My pleasure;


And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.


While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them. And behold a voice out of the cloud which said, This is My beloved Son in whom I am well pleased, hear Him.

No one has seen God at any time; the Only-begotten Son, who is in the bosom of the Father, He has declared Him.


For God so loved the world that He gave His only-begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
