To the Chief Musician. To Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. Only to God is my soul in silence; from Him comes my salvation.


For so says the Lord Jehovah, the Holy One of Israel, In returning and rest you shall be saved; and in quietness and hope shall be your strength. And you were not willing.


It is good that one should hope for the salvation of Jehovah, even in silence.
