Psalm 131:1

And I will be still lower than this, and will be base in my own sight. And of the handmaids of whom you have spoken, with them I shall be had in honor.


Who is he who hides counsel without knowledge? Therefore I have spoken what I did not understand; things too wonderful for me; yea, I did not know.


Whoever secretly slanders his neighbor, I will cut him off; him who has a high look and a proud heart, I will not allow.


A Song of degrees; of David. I was glad when they said to me, Let us go into the house of Jehovah.


A Song of degrees; of David. Except that it was Jehovah who was for us, O may Israel say;


A Song of degrees; of David. Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brothers to dwell together in unity!


Such knowledge is too wonderful for me; it is high, I cannot go up to it.


A high look, a proud heart, and the plowing of the wicked, is sin.


I have not hurried away from shepherding after You; nor have I desired the woeful day; You surely know the going forth of my lips before Your face.

And Saul's servants spoke these words in the ears of David. And David said, Is it a light thing to be a king's son-in-law, since I am a poor man and of little worth?
