And King David longed to go forth to Absalom, for he was comforted about Amnon, since he was dead.


And Hanun took David's servants and shaved them, and cut off their garments in half, to the buttocks, and sent them away.


They rewarded me evil for good; bereaving my soul.


For without cause they have spread their net for me in a pit-net; without cause they have dug for my soul.


And those who give evil for good oppose me, because I follow good.


Whoever rewards evil for good, evil shall not depart from his house.


And when he had learned that the document was signed, Daniel went to his house. And his windows were open in his roof room toward Jerusalem; and he kneeled on his knees three times a day and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as he did before.
