He comes forth like a flower, and withers; he also flees as a shadow, and does not stand.


for we are but of yesterday and know nothing, because our days on earth are a shadow.


As a shadow when it is stretched out, I am gone; I am shaken off like the locust.


Your name, O Jehovah, endures forever, and Your memorial, O Jehovah, throughout all generations.


But Jehovah shall endure forever; He has prepared His throne for judgment.


In the morning it sprouts and shoots up; in the evening it is cut down, and dries up.


And God said to Moses again, You shall say this to the sons of Israel, Jehovah the God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me to you. This is My name forever, and this is My title from generation to generation.


So says Jehovah, the King of Israel, and His redeemer Jehovah of Hosts; I am the first, and I am the last; and besides Me there is no God.


Instead of being forsaken and hated, so that no one passes through, I will make you for everlasting majesty, a joy of many generations.


You, O Jehovah, remain forever; Your throne to generation and generation.


The eternal God is your refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. And He shall throw the enemy out from before you, and shall say, Destroy!


Jesus Christ the same yesterday and today and forever.
