who is waiting for death, but it comes not; and dig for it more than for treasures?


Therefore I love Your Commandments above gold; yea, even fine gold.


I have rejoiced in the way of Your testimonies, as much as in all riches.


The Law of Your mouth is better to me than thousands of gold and silver.


more to be desired than gold, even much fine gold; sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


How much better it is to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding is rather to be chosen than silver!


yea, if you cry after knowledge and lift up your voice for understanding;


Buy the truth, and sell it not; also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.


Wisdom is the main thing; get wisdom; and with all your getting get understanding.


I love those who love me; and those who seek me early shall find me.


There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he has neither son nor brother; yet there is no end to all his labor; and his eyes are not satisfied with riches; and he says , For whom do I labor and take good from my soul? This is also vanity. Yes, it is an evil business.


Again, the kingdom of Heaven is like treasure hidden in a field, which when a man has found it, he hides it, and for the joy of it goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.


And everyone who left houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for My name's sake, shall receive a hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.


And the unjust steward's lord commended him because he had done wisely. For the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
