And it came to pass the same day, that Isaac's servants came, and told him concerning the well which they had digged, and said unto him, We have found water.


Which long for death, but it cometh not; And dig for it more than for hid treasures;


Therefore I love thy commandments Above gold; yea, above fine gold.


I have rejoiced in the way of thy testimonies, As much as in all riches.


The law of thy mouth is better unto me Than thousands of gold and silver.


More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: Sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.


How much better is it to get wisdom than gold! And to get understanding rather to be chosen than silver!


Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, And liftest up thy voice for understanding;


Buy the truth, and sell it not; Also wisdom, and instruction, and understanding.


Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding.


I love them that love me; And those that seek me early shall find me.


There is one alone, and there is not a second; yea, he hath neither child nor brother: yet is there no end of all his labour; neither is his eye satisfied with riches; neither saith he, For whom do I labour, and bereave my soul of good? This is also vanity, yea, it is a sore travail.


Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man hath found, he hideth, and for joy thereof goeth and selleth all that he hath, and buyeth that field.


And every one that hath forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.


And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely: for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children of light.
