And they shall be upon Aaron, and upon his sons, when they come in to the tabernacle of the congregation, or when they come near the altar to minister in the holy place; so that they do not bear iniquity, and die. It shall be a statute forever to him and his seed after him.


And anyone that eats it shall bear his iniquity, because he has profaned the holy thing of Jehovah. And that soul shall be cut off from among his people.


Speak to Aaron and to his sons, that they set themselves apart from the holy things of the sons of Israel, and that they do not profane My holy name in what they devote to Me. I am Jehovah.


You offer defiled bread upon My altar; and you say, In what way have we defiled You? In your saying, The table of Jehovah, it is a thing to be despised.


Neither must the sons of Israel come near the tabernacle of the congregation from now on, lest they bear sin and die.


And you shall eat it in every place, you and your households. For it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.


And Jehovah spoke to Moses and to Aaron saying,


So that whoever shall eat this bread and drink this cup of the Lord unworthily, he will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord.


For he who eats and drinks unworthily eats and drinks condemnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body.
