And Aaron and his sons shall use them when they shall go in to the tabernacle of the testimony, or when they approach the altar to minister in the sanctuary: lest being guilty of iniquity they die. It shall be a law for ever to Aaron, and to his seed after him.


And shall bear his iniquity, because he hath defiled the holy thing of the Lord. And that soul shall perish from among his people.


Speak to Aaron and to his sons, that they beware of those things that are consecrated of the children of Israel: and defile not the name of the things sanctified to me which they offer. I am the Lord.


To you, O priests, that despise my name, and have said: Wherein have we despised thy name? You offer polluted bread upon my altar, and you say: Wherein have we polluted thee? In that you say: The table of the Lord is contemptible.


That the children of Israel may not approach any more to the tabernacle, nor commit deadly sin,


And you shall eat them in all your places, both you and your families: because it is your reward for the ministry, wherewith you serve in the tabernacle of the testimony.


And the Lord spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying:


Therefore whosoever shall eat this bread, or drink the chalice of the Lord unworthily, shall be guilty of the body and of the blood of the Lord.


For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh judgment to himself, not discerning the body of the Lord.
