A Psalm of Asaph. The mighty God, Jehovah, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun to its going down.


He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, so that He may judge His people.


Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth; for Jehovah has spoken, I have nursed and brought up sons, and they have rebelled against Me.


Jehovah stands up to plead His case, and stands up to judge the people.


Hear and give ear; do not be proud; for Jehovah has spoken.


O earth, earth, earth! Hear the Word of Jehovah!


Also, son of man, prophesy to the mountains of Israel, and say, Mountains of Israel, hear the Word of Jehovah.


But you, O mountains of Israel, you shall put out your branches and yield your fruit to My people Israel; for they have drawn near to come.


Again He said to me, Prophesy to these bones, and say to them, O dry bones, hear the Word of Jehovah.


And say, Mountains of Israel, hear the Word of the Lord. So says the Lord Jehovah to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers and to the valleys: Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword on you, and I will destroy your high places.


Hear this Word that Jehovah has spoken against you, sons of Israel, against the whole family which I brought up from the land of Egypt, saying,


Hear, all you people; listen, O earth, and its fullness. And let the Lord Jehovah be witness against you, the Lord from His holy temple.


And the mountains shall melt under Him, and the valleys shall tear themselves, as wax before the fire, and as waters poured down a steep place.


And I will execute vengeance in anger and fury on the nations, such as they have not heard.


Mountains, hear Jehovah's case, and the constant foundations of the earth. For Jehovah has a quarrel with His people, and He will plead His case with Israel.


And He answered and said to them, I tell you that if these should be silent, the stones would cry out.


Give ear, O heavens, and I will speak; and hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.


I call Heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that you shall soon utterly perish from off the land which you are crossing over Jordan to possess. You shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.


And now stand still, so that I may reason with you before Jehovah of all the righteous acts of Jehovah which He did to you and to your fathers.


And Samuel said to Saul, Stop! And I will tell you what Jehovah has said to me tonight. And he said to him, Speak.
